CONVICTED (2012) | Marc Anthony Else, born 12 October 1989, of Priestsic Road, Huthwaite, near Sutton-in-Ashfield NG17 2AE – launched a fatal attack on his pet dog
Marc Else lost his temper with white Staffy Ellie after, he claimed, she had bitten him in the face during the early hours of the morning.
The animal, who had been poorly, then fouled on the carpet and curtains so Else grabbed her by the throat and threw her out of the house causing her abdominal injuries.
He then dragged her back in, putting her in the bath and biting a chunk out of her ear.
Finally Else put the dog in a cage downstairs and admitted himself to hospital because he wanted to undergo a mental health assessment.
Ellie died the next morning and a post-mortem revealed she had been underweight, had fractures to the liver and was bleeding from the left ear which had been partly torn off.
Else, who admitted two charges of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal, was said to have been abused when he was a child and was now receiving psychiatric treatment.
Sentencing: suspended 18-week jail sentence and a 10-year ban from keeping animals (expired December 2022).
If ever there was a need for a mandatory lifetime ban .. this is it !! If you can see this Marc Anthony Else .. please don’t ever take on another animal.

I’m all grown up, been on this f-place of a planet for a very long time. And guess what ? I’ve never ever in all that time harmed any animal, so try to understand why I really can’t believe you’ve changed. So I’ll say it again – please don’t ever take on another animal. I don’t believe in giving animal abusers second chances. Fantastic site this, especially when we get to see the abuser’s physog.
Wether I have another dog or not is nothing to do with you thankfully and I will tell you that I am considering it. You are just a bigot and I won’t waste anymore time trying to convince you otherwise.
If we get wind that you have another dog, we will share your case to Facebook and tell local people to keep a close eye on you. If you really want that kind of attention then go right ahead.
That’s where you’re wrong “animal abuser” (if you want to start name calling I can play that game too) It has a lot do do with all of the “bigots” out there who care about animals. Just remember .. you’re on this site for life. Even if this goes, it will always have back up, but surprise surprise, your name/info/photo is on a lot of other “private” sites. No empathy from you for what you did to Ellie, you just made it all about your past troubles. You left Ellie in a cage suffering all night, while you went to get help for yourself. You left her to die alone & in pain. So no. don’t waste anymore time trying to convince me otherwise.

Yes it was terrible what happened but Marc did take Ellie in from a man who didn’t feed her & beat her,
Marc wasn’t well at the time, and would never have hurt her if he was in his right mind.
Do you think that this doesn’t trouble him every single day of his life without people keep bringing up the past.
People do deserve a second chance especially when he was suffering from mental illness and still is and finally after years & years trying to get him help he’s getting the help he needs.
And no it’s not an excuse but no one in there right mind would hurt any animal.and nether would Marc

Ok Private, 1st off .. Marc started the ball rolling for us to comment here. Yeah I wrote the 1st comment a long while ago. That was the post mortem result, so are you saying the papers made that up ? So if he took Ellie from a previous abuser, then ended up abusing her himself, what sort of a life had this poor little love had, So you back him as much as you want to. But I’m here to back Ellie, if you are a good friend of his try to get through to him that he doesn’t need another dog. That’s our main worry, that if he should have another relapse in the future – another dog could end up suffering & might just end up the same as Ellie.
All I’m saying he’s already living in his own hell battling with severe mental health.

Why did he say he was considering getting another dog then ? This wouldn’t have carried on if he hadn’t said that.
Because he was probably angry & tired of people keep throwing this at him when all he’s trying to do is get on the best he can without people keep dragging up the past that he is already struggling to deal with please just leave this alone.
Just so you know I took an overdose on Tuesday because I can’t cope with this. anymore. lost my job in march last year because of this. I hope this makes you feel better, that’s that there will be 1 less ‘animal abuser”

1 more thing, I have been in contact with a solicitor and we are trying to find out who the site belongs to and wether it would be worth making ae claim. Also identifying how you came across my picture.
Oh boo hoo, poor you. You published your photos publicly to FB, meaning literally anyone can download and share them if they wish. Tabloids routinely publish people’s public social media images. Do you think they ask for permission first? Get real. Best thing you can do is ask Google to block the URL so that our post on your dog-torturing antics (but we’re the sickos here) no longer appears in search results, though we would of course appeal this. You’re so full of self-pity it’s actually embarrassing.

There are around 2,500 convicted animal abusers on our database. Probably around half of those will have cited “mental health issues” as the reason they abused or killed a helpless animal. That excuse doesn’t wash with us and we won’t be making an exception for you. You’re not special. Now please go away.
