CONVICTED (2024) | unlicensed backyard breeder Kelly Rose, born c. 1978, of 3 Macpherson Robertson Way, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds IP29 7RS – for the mistreatment of dogs in her care.
Rose, who is married to Paul Rose, was ordered to pay over £2,000 after pleading guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to a Pomeranian called Milo.
The tiny pup was attacked by another dog but Rose, who regularly flogs litters of mainly small-breed dogs online, failed to get him veterinary treatment.
Rose, who also has a dog walking and pet sitting business called Pawkies, also admitted breeding without a licence despite producing three litters of puppies within a 12-month period during 2022.
Sentencing | a total of £2,330 in fines. No ban.
