CONVICTED (2024) | Ivy Rusher, born 28 October 1985, previously of Tower Close, Abingdon OX14 5US, but now of The Malthouse, Ashbury, Swindon SN6 8NB – for the mistreatment of five cats and a terrapin turtle.
Rusher was found guilty, alongside partner David Ebsworth aka David Clarke, of failing in their duty to ensure the welfare of an animal.
The couple failed to ensure five cats and a terrapin were provided with a suitable environment, a suitable diet, and failing to ensure the animals exhibited normal behaviour patterns while living in Abingdon.
Ebsworth is being dealt with in separate court hearings.
Sentencing | 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. Costs of £239. No mention of a ban.
